Dear fellow Conductors and Choristers,
Welcome to the 8th Singapore International Choral Festival – a jubilant convergence of global voices through the universal language of music. It fills my heart with joy and gratitude to witness the triumphant return of the global choral community after a challenging period. Through these times, we have become stronger as one people, discovering strength in togetherness, valuing sharing, empathy, and cultivating a deeper sense of love.
Amidst a complex world, music’s transformative power continues to unite us. Your choir’s performances embody the love and passion that bind us all, transcending borders. The festival is also an ode to our shared human experience, a vivid reminder that through compassion and unity, we can all foster a brighter future.
Thank you for your interest in partaking in this extraordinary journey of music and togetherness with us. Let us soar to new heights and celebrate SICF with the resilience of the human spirit!

Meet-the-Jury Session
This session allows the Jury to provide valuable feedback, advice and tips for the conductors post-competition – a perfect platform for conductors and choirs to learn and improve. The session is conducted in seminar style where conductors of the same category will meet selected jury who adjudicated them and provide feedback for improvement.
Choral Workshop
Choirs can sign up for a choral workshop, where a member of the SICF adjudication panel will work with individual choirs on selected competition repertoire. Clinicians will share their musical knowledge and know-how, suggesting areas for improvement and development.
SICF Choral Exchange and Friendship Concert
The SICF Choral Exchange and Friendship Concert is a unique and fun programme facilitated by the festival. Come join us for 1.5h session of singing and sharing amongst other participants of the festival. Each exchange typically involves up to 4 participating choirs of SICF making music and friends.
Choirs who wish to participate in the friendship concerts are to indicate their interest on the registration form. Each selected choir will be required to sing two songs with a total on stage time of 8 minutes. Performance slots are not guaranteed and will be given based on availability and suitable pairing. Friendship concerts will require to choir to travel to the hosting school concert hall ⁄ venue, do take that into consideration in your planning.
Outreach Performances
The organisers will tie-up with various partners to provide outreach performance venues for the choirs. This usually involves a 10-15 minutes performance to locals and/or tourists at the venues, providing a platform to share your culture and music with Singapore.
